This role is part of the Business Intelligence team that develops and supports data analysis and visualization products to empower data-driven business strategies at YRCW. The primary responsibilities of this role are to collaborate with data scientists, analysts, developers, and business partners to collect, clean, transform, and serve data where and when it needs to be. The team tackles extremely challenging problems of integrating machine learning and AI solutions in products that require (near) real-time data feeds. The data-driven logistic service products our team aims to solve are among the most challenging in the world, and to succeed we need a true data-shifting master who thinks outside of the typical realm of ETL.
BI Project Manager
This role is part of the Business Intelligence team that develops and supports data analysis and visualization products to empower data-driven business strategies at YRCW. The primary responsibilities of this role are to collaborate with the Business Intelligence team, IT, and business partners to formulate business solutions, set timelines, create product rollout and support plans, and own relationships with stakeholders across many functional areas of the company. The primary challenge of this position is to find creative solutions to deploy cutting edge machine learning and AI products with near real-time data feeds in production environments while balancing interests of business partners and IT.Business Development Representative
Responsible for cultivating truckload business through prospecting, qualifying and pricing truckload opportunities, while serving as the engagement point for YRCF Sales in order to adequately position and sell truckload services.Carrier Sales Representative
Responsible for matching freight to third-party carriers and their available equipment. Responsibilities include prospecting of leads, web research, networking and cold calling to build pipeline and strong account management to retain and grow carrier accounts. Position requires strong relationship building skills, negotiating power and ability to multi-task.Contract Manager
Implement contract procedures and the cross-functional department’s efforts needed to analyze, negotiate and administer transportation and other corporate contracts to protect the company’s assets while focusing on customer expectations. Identify key areas of corporate risk presented in corporate contracts with recommendations and collaborate with other departments in the design and implementation of contract procedures. Identify and report to management the significant financial risk and coordinate resolution. Participate in negotiations, as needed, and coordinate the involvement of the functional area department heads.Logistics Coordinator
Responsible for organizing the preliminary stages of the freight shipment process and be introduced to the various career paths within the transportation industry. Coordinators will work directly with shippers, consignees, and the HNRY truckload team via email, phone, and in-person to prepare shipments for the carrier sales team.
